About the project
An architectural scene: a five-tier pagoda with curved roofs, a gold spire and red posts. Fog hides both the base and the mountains around it, leaving the structure suspended in whiteness. The cold glow of the ring on the upper tier is the only patch of colour in an otherwise muted frame, and the eye goes straight to it.
